Today it is very nice outside and I had a chance to ride my longboard for the first time since summer because I’m so badass.  Today I asked my teachers about work I am going to miss while I am absent from school.  They were all cool and said I could make it up when I got back.  I will probably finish our next English book before the other kids even start it because the flight is like 20 hours and I will be able to do lots of reading.  I just finished “Their Eyes Were Watching God” by Zora Neale Hurston.  I found this book boring because it was about how girls like to cry or something.

I can’t wait for the trip.  Today my History teacher told me today that she went to Singapore and that the subways are immaculately clean and that it is awesome.   I think I will have a great time in Asia.  My Dad told me that we will be in Tokyo for six hours and it would be cool to go see the city during that time if we can.

  1. Unfortunately, the Tokyo airport is actually not in Tokyo, but an hour-long train ride away.
